A lifelong resident of Northwest Georgia, Pauline Aft has been active artistically for most of her life beginning with watercolors and eventually working in acrylics and oils. Her subject matter ranges from vibrant and dramatic figures to softer and more subtle subjects.
"I try to find the poetry in each painting. I know every painting or work of art has a story, maybe even a narrative. I try to make art that touches the most human parts of all of us – that’s why family, children and animals are often the subjects that catch my eye. I want people to not just view my work, but to feel it," Pauline says.
