Born in 1954 in Zurich, Switzerland, Andreas has lived in Dalton, GA since 2003.  He is married and a business owner.

Fellow artist, Ray Pierotti says, "In the age of Photoshop and digital manipulation, Andreas rarely alters his photos. He is open and direct—his photographs reflect his nature by attention to detail in daily routines.  His desire is not to compare or document, but simply to observe and allow others to look over his shoulder while he discovers what is ‘noticeable.'"
